Outline process for recruitment to NYECFS F1 for August 2008
- Application:
All applicants will need to complete an online application form (accessible when applications are open)
The online application form will be the only method of application. Paper applications, CVs and electronic CVs, forms or other documents will not be accepted.
Applicants can only be considered for substantive F1 programmes if they meet the eligibility criteria
The closing date is 0800 on 14th April and no exceptions will be permitted.
- Shortlisting:
Shortlisted applicants will receive an email invitation to interview w/c 28th April. If you are not emailed inviting you to attend for interview you should assume that on this occasion your application has not been successful.
- Interviews:
The interviews will be held on 6th May 2008 at Hull Royal Infirmary. No other date is offered.
The School and its affiliated Trusts operate a 'selection centre' style of interview, using several pairs of interviewers at different 'stations'.
- Offers:
Offers of employment are made subject to references and relevant HR policies including CRB and occupational health checks.
Applicants offered posts following this process may have to pay in advance for CRB, Occupational Health Checks, and Work Permit (where applicable). This will be refunded in the first salary payment together with any approved expenses for attending the pre-employment process on taking up the post.
Applicants not offered a post will have their approved interview expenses paid in line with NHS regulations.
- F1 progression to F2
Applicants offered F1 programmes will need to make a separate application for entry into F2 in 2009 (subject to availability).
