General information
Linked applicants
NYEC Foundation School will allocate to Programmes within Trusts based on the lowest combined interview/application form score. However, we regret such linking cannot be supported for F2.
Banding supplements
All F1 four month posts carry banding at 1A (50%) or 1B (40%).
GP posts in all trusts (F2) are unbanded.
NYEC Foundation School is not aware of any F2 programme that is unbanded for more than four months of the year. Further information should be obtained form the individual employing trusts. Contact details here.
Information for Non-UK applicants
NNon-UK applicants should check out the advice on the Foundation Programme web site here: http://www.foundationprogramme.nhs.uk/
F2 training abroad
This Foundation School (and other schools within the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery) no longer supports F2 abroad. This applies with immediate effect and applies to F1s entering training in August 2010.
General advice
Advice for potential applicants is only available on the Foundation Programme and MMC web sites. We regret the school cannot answer individual enquiries regarding eligibility.
Academic Programmes
Academic Programmes currently have a separate recruitment process, which is designed to be completed BEFORE the online application process opens (usually recruitment takes place between June and September) in order that unsuccessful applicants can still apply through the online system for a foundation programme. For information about academic programmes please choose the 'Academic Programmes' section from the menu on the left in the vacancies section of this web site
